PROGESPON

PROGESPON is compound by cylindrical polyurethane sponges impregnated with Medroxyprogesterone acetate (MAP) and sewn with a cotton thread to facilitate their removal. MAP is a synthetic progestagen absorbed by vaginal route. The product is applied intravaginally for 12 to 14 days, and acts as an efficient estrus synchronizer in sheep and goats.
